TLDR

We check things before we sell them.

Many drafting-pencil markets treat 0.3mm and 0.35mm as basically the same size. If you're a student learning technical drawing alongside CAD, though, that little 0.05mm gap is real. It shows up in your line weight, and line weight is the difference between a section view you can actually read and one that turns into a smudge. So instead of taking a supplier's word for it, we started checking the number ourselves, with a calliper, before anything gets the 0.35mm label.

We're a small Canadian retailer, based in Quebec, and the tools we carry are sourced from Germany and Japan rather than made in-house. What we actually do is the verification part: making sure what lands on your desk is genuinely what it says it is, so you don't have to chase that down yourself. That work isn't finished yet, and we'd rather say so than pretend a supplier relationship is more settled than it is.

It's also why we don't sell through Amazon. Precision tools are exactly the kind of thing that gets mislabeled or faked on marketplaces, and selling direct is how we can actually stand behind what we send you. Check the claim before you trust it, whether that's auditing a system or measuring a pencil lead.
